Acceptable Stay with Room Issues
cold shower dusty surfaces
I stayed one night before a cruise. The shower only had cold or scalding water, it was not very useful. Some surfaces were quite dusty. The rooms are starting to look a little worn, I think.

smaller room high noise
the location proved convenient for my needs, nothing lovely.
The allocated room did not match the description. it felt smaller and lacked the amenities advertised. the noise level was noticeable. Sounds from adjacent rooms and the hallway disrupted sleep.

a proper home away from home
lovely decor evening drink extended check-out favorite spot
i appreciated the overall feel of the place. the room decor was quite lovely. the hotel living room became my favorite spot for an evening drink. i found it particularly helpful that check-out was extended until 2pm (it helped me a lot).
the staff seemed slightly understaffed in the evenings, so sometimes there were delays at the bar while they were checking guests in. it wasn't a major issue, but noticeable.

the room was quite spacious and clean, a master loft. the bed felt very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. i also liked the vibrant colors used in the room's decoration.

winnie's cafe offered a good experience, particularly with its charming ambiance. i found the quality of the products used in the kitchenette to be of great quality. the option to fill a glass milk bottle with fresh milk at reception was a nice touch.

i found the location to be excellent, just a short walk from various restaurants. the proximity to a park, though i did not visit it, added to the appeal (maybe next time!). it made exploring the area very convenient.

the availability of parking was very useful, though the spaces were a bit tight. the lifts were generally functional, although one had a minor issue. i thought the cooking facilities in the room were quite handy.
